Oncology RN
Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Charlottesville, Virginia
- Night shift
- 13-week assignment
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Must work 2 of 3 winter holidays
- Up to 40 hours of time off can be approved
Unit Details
- Adult inpatient oncology unit with hematology/oncology and stem cell transplant care
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
- Must follow the facility float policy
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Oncology experience with at least 1 year of experience
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
Additional Notes
- ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification may be pending at submission if it can be completed before start
- Depending on experience, the manager may also require completion of the fundamentals course before start
