CVOR Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule & Work Expectations
- Weekday shifts
- CV call and holiday coverage required
- Call requirement: 90–120 hours of call in a 6-week schedule
- Scrub not required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- CVOR (1.5 years of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Circulating experience
- Heart/lung transplant experience
- Valve replacement experience
- Aortic dissection experience
- Experience receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation
Unit Details
- Average daily census: 70–80
- Rooms: 24
- OR nurses may be floated where needed except in CV and Transplant areas
- Special equipment includes DaVinci XI
