Endoscopy RN
Job Overview
- Travel/contract assignment in Mineola, New York
- 12-week assignment
- Evening shift: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
- 5 shifts per week, 7.5 hours each
- Weekends not required
- Float required
- First-time travelers not accepted
Setting and Patient Population
- Hospital-based Endoscopy/GI procedural unit
- Supports PACU/Recovery coverage
- Cares for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
- High-volume procedural environment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Endoscopy experience within the last year
- 2 years of endoscopy experience
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- Airway management
- Recovery from conscious sedation
- Administering and monitoring conscious sedation
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Emergency-response skills
- Circulating for procedures
- Bronchoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- EGD
Preferred Qualifications
- EPIC experience
- Pediatric experience for nurses who may be assigned to pediatric cases
Procedures and Clinical Exposure
- ERCP
- EUS
- ESD
- POEM
- EMR
- Complex polypectomy
- EGD
- Colonoscopy
- Bronchoscopy
- General anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care cases

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful.
