Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Middletown, Ohio
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:45 AM–4:15 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Must be able to work on Christmas Day
• May have on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic cardiac echocardiology procedures
• Coordinates patient flow and activities of the Cardiopulmonary Department
• May perform other cardiology procedures based on departmental needs

Required Qualifications

• Echo Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist
• Associate degree in ultrasound/sonography
• ARDMS or CCI credential
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
• Current resume/application
• 2 references from within the last 2 years, including 1 manager/supervisor/charge RN reference
• Skills checklist within 1 year prior to documentation due date and updated annually
• Current physical exam within 2 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Drug screen within 12 months prior to documentation due date
• Annual health questionnaire
• Candidate agreement
• Respiratory protection medical questionnaire and respiratory safety clearance
• Government-issued photo ID
• E-Verify documentation
• Proof of name change, if applicable

• Government-issued photo ID is required
• Background check and multiple compliance screenings are required before start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required during flu season
• May need to complete other onboarding health documentation and verification items before start
