Labor and Delivery Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Pinehurst, North Carolina
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- 13-week contract
- ASAP start
- 19-bed unit
- Patient ratio: 1:2–3
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Post Partum experience
Assignment Details
- Floating to postpartum/mother-baby is required
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Must not reside in Moore County; all other locals are accepted at the same rate

- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check covering all locations lived/worked/in school in the past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- State license verification
- NURSYS verification
- Color blindness testing
- Competency exam
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
- Two clinical references
- Completed application/resume
- Skills checklist
- Physical exam
- Tdap within 10 years of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
- 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season
- Orientation modules required before start
