Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Role Summary
- Provides routine and complex nursing care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting
- Uses the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care
- Administers medications and treatments using the appropriate protocol
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
- Educates patients, family members, and caregivers as needed
