Description

Dietitian

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in New York, New York
  • Day shift, 5x8 hours
  • 40 hours per week
  • Contract length: 26 weeks
  • In-person interview required

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate food service operations and nutrition components for childcare centers, after school programs, day care homes, adult day cares, and shelters participating in CACFP
  • Conduct on-site program reviews
  • Provide training and technical assistance on record keeping, meal planning, and program regulations
  • Approve or disapprove corrective action plans

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Good organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Professional approach to working with program staff and the public

Additional Notes

  • Monthly travel may be required
  • This position does not supervise

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
