Job Overview

  • Location: Huntington, West Virginia
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
  • Hours per week: 40
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in West Virginia
  • CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • ARRT (CT)
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Strong GE CT scanner experience
  • Radiology Technologist experience

Schedule / Assignment Details

  • No call
  • No holidays
  • Locals not accepted
  • Floating to sister facilities is not required
  • Block scheduling is not available

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Active state ID or driver’s license at time of employment
  • Transcript or diploma required; education verification may be used as a substitute for a diploma
  • Background check required
  • Drug screen required within 30 days of start
  • Physical exam required and updated annually
  • TB screening questionnaire required
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 6 months of start
  • Hepatitis B documentation required
  • Hepatitis A antibody required within 6 months
  • Hepatitis C antibody required within 6 months
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
  • Tdap vaccination required within 10 years
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required
  • Seasonal COVID vaccination required
  • 2 clinical references required

Additional Notes

  • First-timers accepted depends on years of experience
  • Guaranteed hours: 80 per 2-week period

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
