Case Manager
Overview
- Location: Portland, Oregon

Role Summary
- ED case management for adult inpatient and emergency department patients
- Short-term acute care setting
- Magnet, teaching, Level I Trauma Center
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Case Management (3 years of experience)
- Case Management experience within the last year
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care or Inpatient setting
- ED - Emergency Department experience
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Preferred
- Travel experience
- Epic experience
Skills
- Inpatient medical/surgical, emergency department, and pediatric experience
Work Expectations
- Weekend coverage may vary
- May float within scope to meet facility needs
- Block scheduling may be accommodated by request
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- Pending license accepted if the application has been submitted and received by the licensing board to qualify for the 90-day license exemption
- No on-call requirement
Compliance / Pre-Start Items
- Valid government-issued photo ID required on first day
- Background check and required screenings must be completed before start
- Must be fully available for compliance needs up to the start date
- Professional appearance policy must be reviewed and signed before start
- Job description must be signed before start
- TB screening, drug screening, fit mask clearance, and immunization documentation are required per facility onboarding
- Two manager or supervisor references from the last 24 months are required
- At least 7 years of work history, including city and state for each position, must be provided for background screening
- Skills checklist required within 1 year of start
Additional Notes
- Scrubs: any color, no prints
- Parking is available for a daily fee
- Epic charting is used
