Medical-Surgical RN

Schedule

Night shift
36 hours per week
5:00 pm to 5:30 am
Weekends, holidays, and shift rotations may be required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Idaho
Med Surg experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (1 year of experience)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Prior Medical-Surgical experience

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as ordered
Monitor patient status and report changes promptly
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care
Document care in electronic health records
Support post-operative recovery, chronic illness management, and acute care interventions
Respond to emergencies and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
Delegate and oversee tasks assigned to nursing assistants, ESTs, and unit clerks
Mentor new staff

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
