MS/Tele RN
Location: Chesapeake, Virginia

Overview
- Post-operative medical-surgical/telemetry unit caring for orthopedic, spinal surgery, bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, Level III trauma, and medical-surgical overflow patients.
- Unit can monitor up to 8 telemetry patients.
- Typical patient ratio is 1:7.
Schedule and assignment expectations
- Candidate must indicate preferred schedule at submission: 3x12s or 4x12s.
- Every other weekend, floating, and holidays are required.
- Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays.
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic

- BLS through the American Heart Association
- ACLS through the American Heart Association
