Unit Details

Medical acute and subacute unit
25 beds
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-6
Charge nurse role required regularly
Floating required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Charge roles
Experience with Epic

Clinical Responsibilities

IV therapy
EKGs
Telemetry interpretation
Respiratory treatments
Care for chronic disease exacerbations, acute infections, and COVID patients

Additional Notes

Start date is expected within the next week
Reliable transportation is strongly recommended
Public transportation is not accessible in the area
All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
