Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CCU - Coronary Care (2 years of experience)
- CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
- Experience in a Critical Care setting
- Experience with mechanical ventilators
- Experience with ICP (intracranial pressure) monitoring
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring
Required Certifications
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
Schedule
- 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Additional Notes
- Government-issued photo ID required
- Emergency contact form required before start
- CORI release required
- Background check required
- Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
- Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry search required
- Pass/fail testing required on orientation day
- Color blindness testing required before start
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable
- Competency exam required as applicable
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
- Tdap vaccination required
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start
- Fit testing required
- TB clearance required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity documentation required
- 9-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start
