PCU Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Odessa, Texas
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 48 hours per week
- Start date: early October
- 13-week contract
Clinical Setting
- Supports MS/Tele, PCU, and critical care patients
- May float to those areas if census is low
- Ratios: MS/Tele 6:1; Critical Care 2:1
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication)
- Acknowledgement of PassFail Testing
- 2 references within 3 years of start
Compliance / Onboarding
- Government-issued photo ID
- E-Verify or attestation
- Background check
- 7-year background check within 30 days of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
- NURSYS verification within 30 days of start
- State license verification within 30 days of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
