Operating Room RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Start date: ASAP, with listed start windows of 9/8, 9/12, or 9/21
13-week contract
Day shift, 5x8 hours, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
40 hours per week
Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
First-time candidates accepted
Call required: 2–3 days per week and every 4th–5th weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Orthopedics experience
Urology experience
ENT Surgery experience
Plastic Surgery experience
OB/GYN experience
Ophthalmology experience
Neurosurgery experience

Additional Notes

Heavy robotics and heavy orthopedic/sports medicine case mix
Call is rotating, with 2 call teams during the week and 1 call team on weekends for 24 hours
Call coverage is required if requested time off falls on a call day

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
