Registered Nurse

Job details

  • Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
  • Weekend coverage: Every other weekend as needed
  • Floating: May float to medical-surgical floors, rehab, and possibly OB as helping hands
  • Orientation: 1 day

Required qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
  • Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with Epic

Unit highlights

  • Medical-surgical/telemetry assignment
  • May care for stable post-op open heart patients, peritoneal dialysis and respiratory patients, cardiac disease and stroke patients, and joint replacement/observation patients
  • May care for COVID-19 patients

Compliance and onboarding

  • Background check and fingerprinting requirements apply
  • Child abuse, PATCH, and Medicheck searches are required
  • References, skills checklist, resume/application, and education verification are required
  • Health screening and immunization documentation are required, including TB, Tdap, MMR, varicella, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, and COVID-19 documentation
  • Fit testing is required for patient-facing candidates
  • Drug testing is required
  • Facility paperwork and acknowledgements must be completed before start

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
