Job details
- Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Weekend coverage: Every other weekend as needed
- Floating: May float to medical-surgical floors, rehab, and possibly OB as helping hands
- Orientation: 1 day
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Unit highlights
- Medical-surgical/telemetry assignment
- May care for stable post-op open heart patients, peritoneal dialysis and respiratory patients, cardiac disease and stroke patients, and joint replacement/observation patients
- May care for COVID-19 patients
Compliance and onboarding
- Background check and fingerprinting requirements apply
- Child abuse, PATCH, and Medicheck searches are required
- References, skills checklist, resume/application, and education verification are required
- Health screening and immunization documentation are required, including TB, Tdap, MMR, varicella, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, and COVID-19 documentation
- Fit testing is required for patient-facing candidates
- Drug testing is required
- Facility paperwork and acknowledgements must be completed before start
