Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
- 1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
Work Setting
- EP lab with 3 EP rooms
- Cardiovascular patient population
- Float as required by the facility
- No weekend hours
- No call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub electrophysiology cases, including devices and ablations
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care as needed
- Support diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Clean necessary equipment and supplies
- Train students and other technologists in special procedures
- Perform routine department duties when not assigned to special procedures
Skills and Work Conditions
- Must be able to manipulate angiography and digital imaging equipment
- Must be able to lift, move, and transport patients
- Requires continual standing and walking
- Must be able to recognize emergency situations and work in stressful situations
- Must communicate effectively
- Must be able to stand up to six hours while wearing protective gear
Preferred Qualification
- ACLS from AHA only
