Telemetry RN Travel Contract

Overview

• Location: Saratoga Springs, New York
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Patient ratio: 1:4–5

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience managing IV cardiac medications
• Experience with continuous infusions
• Experience with Epic

Preferred / Helpful Experience

• NIHSS can be completed before start if needed
• Critical drip experience
• CVA experience
• Experience managing IV cardiac medications and continuous infusions
• Familiarity with stroke care and management

Additional Notes

• Local candidates within 50 miles of the address are not eligible
• Housing resources may be available; housing is expensive in the fall and should be reviewed before signing
• A passport-style photo is required before start
• Physical exam, fit mask testing, TB screening, drug screening, and other onboarding documents are required before start
• Child abuse mandatory reporter training may be required based on education history
• All required EKG/dysrhythmia testing must be completed within 72 hours of signing
