Job Overview

- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 3x12 hours, Thursday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–8:30 PM
- On-call: Required on a rotation
- Floating: Required within scope, including sister facilities
- Staff meetings: Attendance required
Required Qualifications
- Experience: CT Technologist experience within the last year; 6 months of CT Technologist experience required
- Certifications: BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross; ARRT (R) (CT); SCRQSA (R) (CT)
- Skills/experience: Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients; Peripheral IV (PIV) insertion experience; Siemens CT equipment experience
- License: Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina must be in hand at start
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Radiation badge must be provided by the agency
- Fit test required within 90 days before start and annually thereafter
- 10-panel drug screen required within 90 days before start
- Tdap required within 10 years of start or declination
- TB testing or chest X-ray required within 90 days of start
- Annual TB questionnaire required
- COVID vaccination is not required, but documentation or declination is needed
- Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption is required during flu season
- Physical exam required
- Proof of 2 clinical references required
- Complete application/resume required
- Skills checklist required for the applicable unit
- South Carolina state exclusion list required
- Work history verification required for the last 3 clinical employers
Additional Notes
- Locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate
- Radius rule: 60 miles
- RTO must be submitted at time of application
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Epic is used for charting
- Parking is paid on nights and weekends, with a one-time $20 parking pass fee
