Neuro Intermediate / Step Down RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Lynchburg, Virginia
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- General expectation is 2–3 weekends per month based on unit needs
- 60-mile radius rule
- First-time travelers accepted
- Biweekly orientation on Mondays
- Call is based on unit needs
- Travelers are first to float
- Scrubs are not provided
- Nicotine-free campus

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Minimum 2 manager/charge references within the past 2 years
- Specialty-specific skills checklist
- Candidate profile/work history
- Unexpired government-issued photo ID
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM
- HHS/OIG
- Physical exam
- Negative TB or chest X-ray
- TB questionnaire
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
