ED RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Attleboro, Massachusetts
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
- Contract length: 12 weeks
- Unit details: 21 rooms, 31 beds
- Average daily census: 130–150 patients/day
- Patient age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
- Patient ratio: 1:4/5
- Weekend coverage: every other Friday and Saturday night
- Medication system: Omnicell
- Documentation system: Cerner
- Orientation: 36–48 hours
- Scrubs provided
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Age Specific Competency Exam
- Physical exam within 1 year prior to start
- N95 fit test within the last 6 months
- Proof of one Tdap vaccine after age 18, then Td every 10 years
- 2-step PPD, or Qgold/Tspot within 90 days of start
- Immune status or vaccination documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
- Drug screen within 30 days prior to start
- 2 professional references
- Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry Search
- Massachusetts statewide iCORI release and clearance
- Background check clearance
- EPLS/GSA/SAM clearance
- HHS/OIG clearance
- Photo for badge
- COVID vaccine required
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption required during flu season
Preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Epic or Cerner experience for first-time travelers
- 2–3 years of experience for first-time travelers
