Overview

Travel/Contract role in Westwood, New Jersey
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:00
13-week contract
Unit accepts first-time travelers
Locals within 50 miles are not accepted

Role Summary

OR RN must be able to circulate in orthopedics, spine, robotics, and general surgery

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Orthopedics experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred

PALS as applicable
NRP as applicable
CHEMO as applicable
TNCC as applicable
Management of Assaultive Behavior as applicable
NIH Stroke Certification as applicable
CPI as applicable
Epic experience

Additional Notes

Must be able to verify highest level of education
New Jersey placements require at least 1 year of prior work history verification with only 30-day gaps or less

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
