Operating Room RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Shreveport, Louisiana
- 10 OR rooms
- Average daily census: 20-25
- Day shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Call: 1x per week and 1 weekend per month
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- PALS
- CNOR
- ACSL
Additional Assignment Expectations
- Must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
- May be assigned to an Emergency Team during an emergency event and may be expected to remain at the facility until the event passes or serve on the relief team
