Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Norman, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temp
Shift: Days
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- Experience in a(n) Long Term Care or Rehabilitation setting
Experience Notes
- New grads are considered if they have Level II experience, not just Level I observation experience.
Role Summary
- Screens and evaluates patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders.
- Develops and adjusts plans of care using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice.
- Provides rehabilitative treatment, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
- Documents treatment, progress, discharge summaries, and treatment minutes in the electronic documentation system.
- Communicates with the supervisor and other health team members about patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
- May supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students.
