RN Emergency

Overview

• RN Emergency role in Nantucket, Massachusetts
• 36 hrs./week
• Rotating shifts
• 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Onboarding / Compliance

• License and/or certification verification required within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration
• Primary source verification required for professional license and/or certification
• NURSYS and BON required for nursing licenses
• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date
• Massachusetts CORI within 30 days prior to start date
• SSN trace
• National sex offender check within 30 days of start and updated annually
• Exclusion checks within 30 days of start and annually
• Education verification
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form
• Beeline attestation
• FEMA ICS 100 training
• MGB housing agreement if staying in housing

Health Requirements

• Fit test within 365 days of start date and updated annually
• Respirator medical clearance attestation if fit test is required for the skill
• Color vision screening within 365 days of start
• MMR documentation or proof of immunity
• Influenza vaccine
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date
• Health statement within 365 days of start date

Housing

• Shared housing provided at no cost
