Overview

• Contract ER RN position in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
• Mid-shift schedule with weekend rotation.
• 36 hours per week.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
• 1 year of ED - Emergency Department experience.
• BLS.
• ACLS.
• PALS.
• NIHSS.
• TNCC or TNS.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Develops, initiates, and executes patient plans of care.
• Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities.
• Provides clinical expertise and guidance to other units or departments.
• Uses critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and escalates appropriately.
• Participates in professional nursing continuum process, unit practice activities and decisions, and peer review process.
