Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP
• Current RN license / certificate verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals
• Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
• Ascension Skills Checklist, clinical only, completed within one year of start and updated annually for specialty
• Ascension Pharmacology Exam: completed prior to start, minimum 80%, only 2 attempts allowed, updated every 3 years
• Ascension Specialty Exam: completed prior to first assignment, minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, only 2 attempts allowed, updated every 3 years
• Ascension Core Competencies: completed within a year of start, minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, only 2 attempts allowed, updated every 3 years
• Ascension EKG Exam: passing score of at least 80%, only two attempts permitted, updated every 3 years
