Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

Temp assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts
13-week contract
Day shift, 8 hours per day
Five 8-hour shifts required; 10/12-hour shifts are not available

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of experience in Operating Room (OR)
Operating Room experience within the last year
Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS
Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS
Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

CNOR
Meditech Expanse experience

Skills Checklist: Operating Room Circulate, current to 1 year
Skills Checklist: Operating Room Scrub, current to 1 year
1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment

Scheduling Notes

Requested time off must be noted and verified at upload
No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
Travelers may not take all holidays off
Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled/needed:
- Thanksgiving Day, Friday after, and weekend after
- Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after
- New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and weekend after

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
