OR RN Scrub/Circulator

Unit Details
- Unit: OR RN
- 6 suites
- Average of 22 cases per day
Required Qualifications
- BLS
- 2 years minimum experience as ORT
- Experience in ophthalmology, including independently performing cataract and cornea cases
- Ability to scrub and circulate ambulatory surgery procedures
- Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes
Schedule
- Day shift, Monday-Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- No self-scheduling
- May be scheduled late to complete cases
- Call may be required for weekends and after hours
Call Requirements
- 1 weekday call shift per week
- Up to every other weekend of call
- Holiday call rotation
Floating
- May be required to float to other surgical departments
Additional Notes
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor available, but not in the One Day Surgery Building
- Scrubs provided
- Hospital orientation followed by orientation with staff in ODS
