OR RN Scrub/Circulator

Location

Unit Details

Unit: OR RN
6 suites
Average of 22 cases per day

Required Qualifications

BLS
2 years minimum experience as ORT
Experience in ophthalmology, including independently performing cataract and cornea cases
Ability to scrub and circulate ambulatory surgery procedures
Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes

Schedule

Day shift, Monday-Friday
8-hour shifts
No self-scheduling
May be scheduled late to complete cases
Call may be required for weekends and after hours

Call Requirements

1 weekday call shift per week
Up to every other weekend of call
Holiday call rotation

Floating

May be required to float to other surgical departments

Additional Notes

Charge Nurse/House Supervisor available, but not in the One Day Surgery Building
Scrubs provided
Hospital orientation followed by orientation with staff in ODS
