Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- 13-week travel assignment
- 12-hour shifts, nights
- Unit: Womens Services Meridian Hospital Flr 3
- 10 L&D beds
- 2 OR suites for C-sections
- 4 triage beds
- 10 postpartum beds
- About 120 births per month
Required Qualifications
- RN
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- Stable, taken at least once
- AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- L&D, postpartum, and circulating experience
- Ability to titrate drips
Preferred Qualifications
- Triage experience
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- Weekends as needed
- Holiday requirements based on unit needs
- No call or standby requirement
- Cannot work more than five shifts in a row
Float Scope
- Float to like units within the valley, including Nampa L&D and Boise L&D
- May also float as a sitter in MS or ED
Additional Details
- AWHONN standards are primarily 1:1 in L&D and 1:6 couple care in postpartum
- Blue scrubs provided on unit
- Unit-specific orientation is typically 4-6 shifts
- Charge RN, Resource RN, and House Supervisor are on each shift
- OB hospitalist is in house 24/7
- Neonatal NP is in house 24/7
- CRNA is in house 24/7

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
