Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)
Overview
- Temp assignment in Glens Falls, New York
- Days shift
- 13-week contract
- 14 operating rooms, with coverage in Labor & Delivery for C-sections
- Patient population: Pediatric-Adult
- Primarily a circulating role
- Scrub experience is preferred
- Average volume: 50 procedures per day
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience with Epic
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Driver's License
- Scrub and Circulate experience
- Vascular Surgery experience
- Orthopedic Surgery experience
- Trauma experience
- Urology experience
- ENT Surgery experience
- New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required
- Must have a current Nursys
- Must have own vehicle
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Compliance / Onboarding
- 14-panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
- Must complete one of the following for onboarding and clearance: Welle training, CPI, or PMCS
- Permanent address must be included in the profile and must match Driver License/State ID
- Requested time off must be noted and verified at upload; requests after upload will not be approved
Notes
- COVID vaccination is encouraged, but not required
- Travelers from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties in New York will not be considered

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.
