RN Telemetry I
Overview
- Float pool Med/Surg Tele RN role.
- Must be willing to float between 8 different units.
- Schedule includes days, evenings, and nights with rotating weekends.
- 36 hours per week.
Unit / Float Scope
- Float throughout the hospital to Med/Surg Tele areas, including Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow.
- Patient population includes ED border patients, medication nurse coverage in the acute mental health unit, and non-vented transfer-ready ICU patients.
- Unit bed count: 371.
- Census ranges from 8 to 41 beds across units.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- Experience in an Acute Care setting.
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
- 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience.
- 2 years or more of total travel experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience is preferred for the telemetry/cardiac monitoring work.
Schedule
- Days/evenings rotate with 1 to 3 rotations to nights per contract.
- EOW.
