RN Operating Room
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN Operating Room assignment in Chicago, Illinois.
- 4x10s, 6:30p-3p.
- No block scheduling.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Charting system: Cerner.
Schedule
- Call: one shift per month on a Saturday or Sunday, 7A-7P or 7P-7A; no weekday call.
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend / 2 weekends per month.
- RTO: up to 5 days max, no more than 2 consecutive; no holiday RTO; no RTO the day prior or after a holiday; no RTO on weekends.
Float Scope
- Mandatory float facility; resources are required to float at the facility’s discretion.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- 2 years of experience in Operating Room (OR).
- Operating Room experience within the last year.
- Experience working in an Acute Care setting.
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients.
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- Orthopedics experience.
- Vascular Surgery experience.
- Neurology experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrub experience in all other areas.
Location Requirement
- Locals accepted; locals preferred.
- Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
