Cath Lab Tech

Overview

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Location: Newnan, Georgia
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Schedule: 4x10 hour days, 7:00–17:30, with a 1-week rotation to 5x8 hour days, 8:00–16:30, then back to 4x10s
• Call: 12–14 days per 6-week period and 1–2 weekends per 6-week period; must stay within 30 minutes of the facility
• Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Minimum experience: 2 years
• First-time travelers: Accepted
• RTO: Maximum 7 days
• Holidays: May be required to work major holidays during the assignment period
• Locals: Accepted

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist experience: 2 years of experience
• Recent Cath Lab Technologist experience: Experience within the last year
• BLS: Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• State license: Must be licensed by the State of Georgia
• Education verification: Verification of related degree noted on application
• Background check: Must be complete prior to start
• Drug screen: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start
• TB screening: Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start
• TB questionnaire: Required for all candidates
• Work history verification: Verification of most recent employer
• References: 2 clinical references
• Skills checklist: Within 12 months, updated annually
• Photo ID: Drivers license or state ID
• Color blind testing: Required for all candidates
• Physical exam: Required within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccination or declination: Required
• NURSYS verification: Required if applicable
• Tech cert verification: Required if applicable
• ACLS: Required if applicable
• NIH Stroke Certification: Required if applicable
