House Supervisor

Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Rochester, New York
8-week assignment
Start: ASAP
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
36 hours per week
Locals accepted if they live more than 75 miles away
No float required
Every other weekend coverage
Unit accepts first-time travelers: No

Role Summary

Covers the entire house to support staffing, manage staff, and address patient and visitor needs in real time
Supports bed placement, patient movement, throughput, and key initiatives such as bedside handoff
Coverage includes 12-hour shifts from 3p–7a Monday through Friday, plus 24-hour coverage on weekends and holidays

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
House Supervisor experience with at least 1 year of experience
House Supervisor experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Charge roles
Experience with Epic

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
