Overview

Role: Registered Nurse
Location: Paramus, New Jersey
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (5x8 Hours), 8:00–16:30
Schedule note: 1 out of every 6 weekends
Setting: Home Care / Home Health

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Home Health (1 year of experience)
Home Health experience within the last year
Experience with Homecare Homebase

Compliance / Onboarding

COVID documentation required
Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
Minimal RTO considered: 5 days or less
Must complete required onboarding, health, and competency items before start

Work Expectations

Travelers are expected to complete 4–5 visits within an 8-hour shift and manage time to avoid overtime
Mileage reimbursement applies for required driving between visit locations, with specific rules for first and final visit travel

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
