Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health RN with a NJ or compact license and HomeCare HomeBase charting experience for a 13-week home health assignment.

Details

• Adult home health setting providing in-home patient care
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Requires working 1 out of every 6 weekends
• 4-5 patient visits expected per 8-hour shift
• Uses HomeCare HomeBase charting system

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of home health experience within the last year
• Required experience with HomeCare HomeBase charting system
• Must pass a Basic Arrhythmia Exam with a minimum score of 80%, no retakes permitted
• Proficiency in EKG rhythm interpretation, heart rate calculations, and identification of arrhythmias
• Current Nursys verification required
• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series and booster required, with no declinations or exemptions accepted for COVID or flu
• One supervisory/manager reference dated within one year of assignment start required
• Interview required prior to placement

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care across specialties including endocrine, orthopedic, respiratory, gastrointestinal, integumentary, genitourinary, and medication management
• Perform wound care, ostomy care, catheter management, and pain assessment as needed
• Coordinate patient services and maintain clinical assessment documentation
• Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between visit locations under specific conditions
• Minimal RTO considered, 5 days or less
• Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate
• Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment
• First-time travelers are not considered for this role due to required charting system experience
