Emergency Room RN

Overview

Emergency Room Nights
Alton Memorial Hospital Emergency Department
Travel/Contract
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 18:30–7:00
48 hours per week for 4x12s
Start date: 3–4 weeks per compliance tier
First-timers accepted
Weekend requirement: every other
No on-call
No floating within scope
Block schedule not accommodated
Local candidates not accepted; local radius rule is 75 miles
No more than 7 days of RTO
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week for 3x12s, 48 hours per week for 4x12s

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatrics
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
