Overview

• Travel/Contract role in West Plains, Missouri
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 5x8s, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Locals are not allowed
• 60-mile radius rule applies with no exceptions
• First-time travelers are not accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Risk Manager (2 years of experience)
• Risk Manager experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• State license verification required
• NURSYS verification required for RNs
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• NRP
• Competency exam required
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable
• Pass/fail testing required
• Proof of 2 clinical references
• Complete application/resume required
• Skills checklist required and must be updated annually
• Physical exam required and updated annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Drug screen required within the last 12 months
• COVID vaccination required or approved exemption
• Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
• Government-issued photo ID required
• E-Verify proof or attestation required
• Background check required
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start and for each renewal/extension
• HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start and for each renewal/extension
• Missouri MO EDL search required prior to start
• Rubeola, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunization documentation required

Preferred

• Working knowledge of Just Culture, peer review privilege, EMTALA, HIPAA, PSO, and fundamentals of medical malpractice
