Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Charleston, South Carolina
- Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- May float to like units within scope
- First-timers accepted, but not preferred
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (R)
- ARRT (C)
- SCRQSA
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Siemens equipment operation
- ACLS, with pending accepted if obtained within 2–3 weeks of hire
- Must provide a radiation badge
- South Carolina license verification/primary source verification as applicable
- 2 clinical references
- Complete application/resume
- Skills checklist for applicable unit
- Proof of work eligibility and required identity documents
- Annual background check
- Fit test within 90 days prior to start
- Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
- 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption during flu season
- Physical exam
- Competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable
Preferred
- Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exam experience in both modalities
- Siemens equipment experience
- Epic familiarity
- PACS familiarity
Work Environment
- Teaching hospital
- Magnet and Level 1 Trauma designation
- 865 staffed beds
- Charting system: Epic
- Scrub color: teal blue top, black bottoms
- Parking is paid nights and weekends only, with a one-time $20 parking pass fee
Additional Notes
- On-call is not required
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season
