Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

Overview

• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (R)
• ARRT (C)
• SCRQSA
• BLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• First-time travelers are accepted, but not preferred
• Experience with Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exams in both modalities
• Experience with Siemens equipment
• Familiarity with Epic
• Familiarity with PACS

Additional Notes

• The role provides quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT
• Must be able to explain procedures to patients and ensure competency in the procedure being performed
• Images must be produced for interpretation and/or at the request of a licensed practitioner
• Locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis
• Radius rule: 60 miles
• All requested time off must be included at submission
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Teaching hospital; Magnet and Level 1 Trauma
• Total staffed beds: 865
• Scrub color: teal blue top, black bottoms
• Parking is paid for nights and weekends; one-time $20 parking pass fee
• Hurricane season runs June through November, and travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during that time
