MRI Tech

Overview

Travel/contract assignment in Johnson City, Tennessee
Day shift: Saturday and Sunday 8:00am–8:30pm, and Monday 12:30pm–10:00pm
36 hours per week
No on-call requirements
13-week contract
Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching hospital
Traveler must live 100 miles or more from the hospital’s service area
General orientation starts on Mondays; Monday orientation is online CBLs
Includes 16 hours of nonbillable orientation
Schedule may include one canceled/called-off shift every two weeks without financial penalty if census decreases

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with 1 year of experience
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/in school in the past 7 years
Education verification
EPLS/GSA/SAM within 30 days of start
HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry if licensed or certified in Tennessee or working at a Tennessee facility
Color blind testing
Competency exam
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB or chest X-ray
Rubeola (Measles) immunity documentation
Mumps immunity documentation
Rubella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B documentation
Varicella immunity documentation
Standard 9-panel drug screen within 14 days of start
Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
2 references accepted

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
