Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Miami, Florida
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00–15:30
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Role Summary
Provides perioperative nursing care for pediatric and adult congenital cardiac patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include scrub and/or circulating duties, operating room preparation, sterile technique, patient safety, documentation, and coordination with surgeons, anesthesia, perfusion, and the surgical team.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVOR experience with 2 years of experience
- CVOR experience within the last year
- Perioperative nursing experience
- Experience with complex cardiac procedures and cardiopulmonary bypass
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiac surgery experience
- Pediatric, congenital, or adult congenital cardiac experience
- CNOR, CPN, or equivalent certification
Additional Notes
- Immediate-fill need to prevent disruption to scheduled cardiac surgeries
