MS/Tele
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Chesapeake, Virginia
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- Schedule options: 3x12s or 4x12s
- Unit: 6W Med/Surg Tele – Post-Surgical Unit
- High-volume post-surgical unit caring for urology and GYN surgical populations
- Typical patient ratio: 1:7
- Every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract are required
- Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Minimum of two years of recent Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- Experience with Epic
- RN candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be accepted
Required Certifications
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
Preferred
- Previous travel experience
- Preferred schedule should be clearly indicated at submission
Compliance / Submission Requirements
- Completed Qualivis Cover Sheet
- Current NURSYS report
- All requested time off listed on the Qualivis Cover Sheet
- Driver’s license for address verification prior to offer acceptance
