Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg/Telemetry
Overview
- Temp position in Lima, Ohio
- 13-week contract
- Nights, 12-hour shifts
- Bed number: 26
- Patient ratio: 4/5:1
- Dress code: Navy Blue

Role Summary
- Registered Nurse responsible for assigned patient care on the shift
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care using age-specific criteria
- Assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex) including knowledge of titration and application
- Experience with telemetry and knowledge of heart rhythms
Additional Assignment Details
- Must be committed to reporting for all assigned shifts and be on time
- Travelers are expected to float to units within their scope of practice and skill set
