Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Charlottesville, Virginia
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week assignment
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Can offer 36s or 48s
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed
- Can approve 40 hours for time off
- Clinical review and auto offer
Unit / Float Scope
- SRO Float Pool floating to various medsurg and tele units
- Float across acute care nursing areas as staffing needs require, including:
- Geriatric/Palliative Care
- Orthopedics & Trauma
- Medicine
- Surgical
- Neurology
- Epilepsy
- Stroke
- Acute Cardiology
- Neurosurgery
- Vascular
- Heme/Onc
- Solid Organ Transplant
- Thoracic Cardiovascular
- Digestive Health
- Acute Care Special Pathogens Unit (COVID)
- ED Boarders
- Does not include critical care or intermediate care units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience with Epic
- Must adhere to UVA’s float policy
