NICU RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 3x12 or 4x12
- Weekend work required
- First-timers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- Pending license not accepted
Unit / Setting
- LDR unit with 6 beds and a level 2 nursery
- Staff the nursery and attend vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as baby nurse when the nursery is not open
- May float within the hospital
- Does not float to sister hospitals
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience with CPAP
- Experience with hi-flow oxygen delivery
- IV insertion skills
- Experience attending high-risk deliveries as baby nurse
- Experience with Epic
Certifications / Licenses
- BLS
- NRP

- Ratios: 1:3
- RTO restriction: 1 week max
- Block scheduling not accommodated unless the posting states otherwise
