Emergency Dept RN
Role
- RN in the Emergency Department / ED / ER
- Travel assignment

Schedule
- Evenings, 3p-3a
- 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend hours as required by facility
- No call
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
- 1 year Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility OR 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for travelers from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted
Preferred Qualifications
- Trauma/peds experience
- Experience with 200+ patients per day
- High-acuity experience

- Emergency Department
- 68 beds
- Typical patient ratio: 4:1, with surge and other circumstances affecting ratios
Clinical Setting
- Level 1 trauma center
- Burn center
- Stroke center
- STEMI center
- Regional burn center
Additional Notes
- EPIC is used on the unit
- Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week
- RTO must be made up on the back end
- Holiday RTO: 1 request per assignment
- Scrub color: black
