Home Health RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Marlton, New Jersey
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
40 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Every 5th weekend
Every other holiday
No mileage reimbursement

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Home Health (2 years of experience)
Home Health experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Driver's License
Experience with wound care
Experience with Pleurx drains
Experience with Epic
Experience with OASIS

Patient Population / Clinical Focus

Patients are primarily discharging from hospitals and nursing facilities
Common diagnoses and procedures include wound care, wound vacs, Pleurx drains, ostomies, Heart Failure, Diabetes, oncology, post-surgical care, and Ortho

Productivity

6 visits per day, or equivalent
Admissions count as 2 visits

Additional Notes

Home Health candidates must provide personal or auto insurance

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
